How to Use

The EZ-IO™ System is a fast2 and effective3 solution for patients with DVA that delivers the speed you need and success you depend on in just 4 simple steps:

1. Identify

Identify insertion site; select EZ-IO™ Needle based on patient

2. Landmark

Position extremity; landmark site and clean site

3. Access

Establish vascular access; remove stylet; apply stabilizer dressing and extension set

4. Deliver

Administer fluids and medication under pressure

Site Identification & Selection

Intraosseous (IO) site selection depends on patient age, size, anatomy, presenting condition; as well as ability to locate anatomical landmarks, and clinical judgment and experience. The Arrow™ EZ-IO™ System is indicated for use in a wide range of bilateral insertion sites for both adult and pediatric patients, providing clinicians with versatility in placement.
